LATIN AMERICA FASHION DESIGNER
Liliana has always had a passion for design. She grew up surrounded by art; her parents were collectors. One day, while playing with one of her favorite toys—a Henry Moore sculpture—she broke it. Naturally, there was a great deal of commotion in the house. This led her to rationalize the value of works of art. Later, after finishing her studies, she went to Boston to study design. At her family's insistence, Liliana had to return to Caracas: "I had to study a real trade," she tells us between laughs. So she enrolled at UCAB and, even though she took it easy, she earned her law degree. But since one can only escape one's true calling for a time, and while recovering in a clinic from a health issue, she decided not to postpone "hers" any longer. Thus, in 2005, she launched her first portfolio collection, dedicated to her favorite works of art. As always, everything is refined, timeless, and ultra-chic. It's no wonder she made a name for herself in the Venezuelan luxury sector.
